Counterfeit Christians, those that profess salvation but do not possess salvation.  Tonight's text deals with the first documented counterfeit, Simon the Sorcerer.  Simon was known for sorcery, mixing magic and religion, but when a greater power was revealed he tried to buy the power of the Holy Ghost.  Text Acts 8:9-13
